Rooms & Suites

Mohangarh Fort has elegantly appointed rooms, which include Maharaja Suites, Golden Suites, Deluxe Rooms and Standard Rooms. The Rooms and suites are tastefully furnished to meet the requirements of the modern traveller.

The Maharaja Suites are the former rooms of the royal family of Jaisalmer. They have Italian Marble flooring and are decorated with hand-made motif tiles. They are large spacious suites. Two of these suites have open air shower areas making the guests experience unique. Each of the suites has been pictured and posted in the Gallery section of this website if you would like to reserve a particular suite of your choice.

The Golden Suites are also the former rooms of the royal family of Jaisalmer. They have Yellow Stone Interiors which reflect the décor prevalent in that period. Burj Suite – Meaning & History: ‘Burj’, the Indian name which is same as a Bastion or Turret in English, which is a part of the Castle / Fortress which sticks out from which attacks can be made in all directions. These are the circular structures which are part of castles and fortresses with cannons and guns mounted on top. These Rooms inside the bastions (ground and first floor) are in circular shapes and have been converted into fine suites called as ‘Burj Suites’. With walls 3 feet thick and supported by German Made Iron Girders to give them all the strength to fire cannons from their roofs. These are Spacious and Big Rooms and Bathrooms with all modern amenities. 

The Deluxe and Standard Rooms are well appointed fort rooms which have been refurbished to ensure maximum comfort to the guests. The rooms have spring mattresses, complimentary wi-fi, tea & coffee maker, mini fridge and LED televisions with satellite channels. For ultimate bathing experience toiletries of Biotique are being used. The deluxe rooms are spread across the fort and vary in décor and size since it is a heritage property.
